Privacy Policy
Our games collect no personal data. This page explains what stays on your device and what the app stores and game services handle for you.
Effective date: October 21, 2026
1. Who we are
This policy covers the following games for iPhone, iPad and Android (each, "the game"), published by SoftGenius Software & Services ("SoftGenius", "we", "our", "us"), headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates:
- The Knockout Circuit
- Lumen Siege
- The Lanternwright
You can reach us at sales@softgenius.ae.
2. What we collect
Nothing. Our games have no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. They do not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and they send nothing to us or to any server of ours.
3. What stays on your device
Your progress (such as levels, scores, unlocks and achievements) and your settings (such as language, volume, difficulty and controls) are saved on your device. They are removed when you delete the game.
Your device may back this data up to your own account, under that service's terms:
- On iPhone and iPad, through iCloud backup, and through iCloud sync of your progress between your devices when the game offers it and you are signed in to iCloud.
- On Android, through Android's automatic backup to your Google account.
We cannot see these backups.
4. Keeping and deleting your data
The game keeps your progress and settings only on your device, for as long as the game is installed. You can erase them at any time:
- Where the game has a reset option in its settings, it clears your progress.
- Deleting the game removes everything it stored on the device.
- Copies in your own backups follow Apple's or Google's retention rules; you can delete them in your device's iCloud or Google backup settings.
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. Your purchase record stays with Apple or Google so you can restore your purchases.
5. Purchases
Purchases, such as unlocking the full game, are handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), which process the payment under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details. The game only learns what was bought, so it can unlock it and restore it on your other devices.
6. Game Center and Google Play Games
Where a game offers leaderboards and achievements, they go through Apple Game Center or Google Play Games if you are signed in to them. Those services receive your scores and unlocked achievements and handle them under their own privacy policies: the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. You can sign out of them in your device settings.
7. Ratings
From time to time, the game may ask the App Store or Google Play to show their standard rating window. Any rating or review you give goes to the store, under its terms, not to us.
8. Sharing from the game
Where a game lets you share something, such as your stats or a screenshot, it leaves your device only if you tap share, and only to the app you choose, such as email or a messaging app.
9. Children's privacy
Our games collect no personal data from anyone, including children.
10. Permissions
On Android, a game may declare vibration (haptic feedback) plus the permissions Google's own Play Billing and in-app review libraries need to reach Google Play (billing, network access and network state). The games' own code sends nothing over the network. They do not ask for location, contacts, storage, camera, microphone or any other personal permission.
11. Changes to this policy
If any of our games ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy and its effective date before that version is released.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy: sales@softgenius.ae, or the developer contact on the game's App Store or Google Play page.
